Clouds

By Bud Lemire on Sept 13, 2010

I love the clouds of every shape and size
Bringing alive my imagination right before my eyes
Do you see an Angel in that big cloud above?
Or that heart shaped one, it’s a sign of love
As I look at them, no matter where the place
I always count on seeing, somebody’s face

Oh, see that cloud that is shaped like a bunny
With a fluffy tail, now that one sure is funny
Do you see that elephant in that cloud right over there?
With it’s trunk held out, spraying water everywhere
The next one looks just like a dog
Followed by another that looks like a frog

I love the clouds with the sky so blue
I even saw a cloud that looked like you
There’s one that looks like a Clown
And the next one is a face wearing a frown
From the middle, a sunbeam shoots out
Upon the grass it shines all about

Oh how it looks as sunlight is all around
Sunshine naturally all over the ground
It’s like a doorway from Heaven, setting all aglow
We’re never alone, and we should always know
Look skyward and see the clouds passing by
Remember to always… hold your head high

Clouds are so beautiful in so many ways. The shapes, the sunbeams, the shades, and so much more. What do you see in the clouds? What do you want to see? Let your imagination run wild. Let the clouds take shape, just as you let your world take shape. Go with the flow, and always know, that the beauty you see is all yours, if only you’re willing to let it be what you see it to be.
