The Room

What lurks
beyond the room
Well, one can
only assume
One must take
a dare
And walk down
every stair
Take another
step, quickly right ahead
Follow every
move, where your feet are lead
Before you
get too nervous, look at where you are
You've made
it past the Dining room, doing good so far
Now walk a
little further, and you will see
The Living
room, is the next place you will be
You're doing
better, than you've ever done before
Now take some
more steps, there's the front door
Open up the
door, and take a step outside
You're on the
front porch, with your feet as your guide
You've done
this before, so down the stairs you go
I thought you
were going, now I don't know
Why are you
coming back in, so quickly to your room
As if
something was after you, I can only assume
Well, it's
none of my business, just do as you like
Wait a
minute, did I just see some lightning strike
It's best to
stay in this room, just like you did before
There's
thunder and lightning, outside the front door
It's enjoyable to watch
Lightning and hear the thunder
when you are on the
inside. For some of us, it's a bit
scarier when we are out
in it. Some say it isn't dangerous,
while others say, it
can hit you easily. As a kid it didn't
bother me, being out in
it. But these days, I'd rather be
inside looking out at
it.
