Everybody wishes for more money, to help them get by
Dreams of an easier life, so it’s the lottery they try
It’s so much more money than we’ve ever known
Think of all the things that we could own
Places to go to, so much to see
If only we’d win, in the lottery
If life became too easy, with too much money on hand
We’d hear the music, but wouldn’t see the band
The birds flying overhead, or the creatures nearby
Would all go unnoticed because life would be so high
We’d see the forest, but we wouldn’t see the tree
There’s so much in life we’d miss if we won the lottery
We’d be off somewhere on an ocean cruise
Drinking margaritas and we’d be the news
No more work, all the bills paid
Why we could even hire a maid
We could sleep all day with nowhere to be
Free to do what we wanted with the lottery
Sure it’s great to have money, I have to agree
Especially in this world today, where we tend to be
Not having money teaches us so much more
Appreciating life and what living is for
Enjoying the simple things that come along
Overcoming odds that’ll make us strong
If I won the lottery, what would I do
I’d still be me, that same person you knew
But the odds are that I won’t win
“That’s Okay,” I say with a grin
I’ve already won, because I am free
To enjoy every moment with Life’s Lottery
Life’s Lottery is feeling rich by enjoying the simple things life has to offer each and every one of us day to day. Giving back to the land that has given you the best. We are already winners when we notice nature’s gifts….the birds….the butterflies….the creatures that live here with us. The trees, the flowers, the things that grow here with us.
