If I Were In Your Shoes

by Bud Lemire on Jan 16, 2011

If I were in your shoes, I wouldn’t know what to do
Some decisions aren’t easy, with what life puts upon you
I know somehow, you will find a way
To carry on and make it through each day

Inner strength and intuition will guide you to the end
Faith in what you believe in, will be your greatest friend
Give it all you got, do all that you can do
Always remember to remain true to you

Your journey will take you down every road
You’ll find a way to lighten your load
Friends will support you with their pressence near
Relieving you of your worries, calming you of fear

Being in your shoes isn’t an easy thing
I think of all the joy that you bring
Your caring ways, and all that you’ve done
It’s no wonder you’re loved by everyone

If I were in your shoes, I wouldn’t know what to do
It’s not easy with all the pressure that’s put upon you
Faith and hope will help you win over the blues
And you’ll win with every choice you choose

Life isn’t easy, and being in your shoes is hard. Life brings us lessons to learn and a journey that takes us many places. All we can do is fasten our seatbelts and enjoy the people we meet along the way, and the places it takes us to.
