A
Flutter Of Wings
by Bud Lemire on July 29,
2005
A flutter of
wings, as she takes to the air
Fluttering
around, her family gathered there
She's a
beautiful Monarch, peaceful and free
Come to join
in, the gathering of her family
She's joining
with the spirits, in the spirit land
But returns
to the Earthly plane, to give her family a hand
So free is
her movements, so grand is her flight
So beautiful
is her wings, captured in the sunlight
Landing on a
flower, to give her wings a rest
She's the
beauty of God's world, Mother Nature's best
So delighted
that her family, gathered on this day
She had to
make an appearance, in the spiritual way
The spirits
of the afterlife, takes on any form
Creatures big
and small, the bodies they have worn
They come to
watch, through another creature's eyes
Coming to
Earth so often, which is no surprise
The Butterfly
is the symbol, it's spirit is so light
For someone
from the spirit world, to guide its wings just right
"Oh
Mother, you have such beautiful wings"
As she
flutters in the air, we hear her as she sings
