Revolving Door

Revolving Door

by Bud Lemire on Feb 9, 2003

As we slowly go through life, our world does revolve

Taking time to understand, as we each absolve

Freeing us of pain, we held onto for so long

Changing into right, all that once was wrong

For guilty, are we each, of doing wrongful deeds

We know, and we grow, and follow where it leads

Hoping not to do it, once one mistake was made

And in the sands of time, those memories will fade

We hold onto those feelings, never releasing the pain

When we should take in love, and let that feeling remain

To be our full potential, we must not restrain

And not to treat ourselves, with so much disdain

Everyone and everything, should be in the state of equation

Take part in worldly things, and cause a good sensation

Let the world turn, as you move in time

Never let your path, stray from that straight line

Let the Revolving World, move in time with you

Never let the doldrums, do what it will do

Let peace overcome, everything that you know

And you'll find life's journey, is easier on the soul
