Only Half

All of what
life can be
Is only half
of what you see
Half is what
is shown to you
Your eyes see
what comes through
But your
senses can pick up more
Parts of the
other half you can't ignore
Two halves
merge to become one whole
Which makes
us complete, the human soul
The
soul...the spirit, sees so much
That goes
beyond the physical touch
It's the
senses we all use to feel
Many say it
goes beyond what's real
Every living
thing that grows
Spiritually
is aware and knows
Although they
can't communicate in words
Just like the
chirping of the birds
The tree so
beautiful, with branches so high, and silent
I wonder if
it's through the roots, where messages are sent
So much is
there, that we don't know
To learn and
understand, is for us to grow
How we treat
other living creatures here on Earth
Is how we are
rated spiritually of our own worth
All of life
is so much more to me
And it's Only
Half of what I physically see
