This
Beautiful Tree
by Bud Lemire on Nov 27,

With her
roots firmly planted in the ground
This
beautiful tree came to be found
Her branches
held so very high
I just
couldn't pass her by
Her beauty
could easily be seen
With all her
leaves of green
She was a
sight I loved to see
As her
branches embraced me
Her bark was
of a special wood
That always
told me she could
In the Autumn
she let it fall
Her leaves
discarded and I saw it all
She was naked
to my eyes
I was taking
in her size
I got real
close and held her tight
As she moved
slowly in the sunlight
She took me
so deep one time
A hollow spot
she became all mine
Her branches
surrounded me
Held me close
so tenderly
She was all I
wanted her to be
As I fell in
love with This Beautiful Tree
To
Vicki, who is as beautiful as a tree
