Don't Take For Granted

Don't Take For Granted

2002 by Bud Lemire

Every moment is precious, no matter what the case

Learning about life and love, among the human race

Some people, have their lives cut short

Through illnesses or actions, or something of the sort

Think of every moment spent, as something very rare

Take time to try new things, go ahead if you dare

No matter how little, or small that it may seem

It could be the beginning, of a small part of a dream

Don’t reach too high, without enjoying things that are nearby

Touch upon the simple things, it sure is worth a try

Can you imagine life, if simple things weren’t there

There’d be a lot more stress, and life would be unfair

Take time to feel, with your heart beating strong

Keep your priorities, right where they belong

Show your smile to others, keep those you love near

Don’t Take For Granted, the time that you are here
