E
Mail
by Bud Lemire on March 13,
2003
I get up
every morning, and check the internet
And look at
my inbox, to see what I will get
There are a
couple letters, of news from far away
And there
sure is a lot of junk mail, I'll delete today
I'll respond
to those who wrote me, as prompt as I can be
So they will
have an update, on how life is with me
This mail
travels so fast, from one place to another
Arriving in
just seconds, to friends, sisters, and brothers
One letter
came back, saying the recipient was unknown
I guess I'll
have to correct it, by calling them on the phone
Someone's
mailbox is too full, it won't let my letter through
All that junk
mail piles up, but you know what to do
You have to
keep it clean, just like you do your house
And it's so
much easier, with the clicking of your mouse
Click click
click, keep it up until they all disappear
Now you have
rid yourself, of junk mail from last year
Now it is my
bedtime, but just before I do
I'll check it
once more, to see what came through
Oh it's just
more junk mail, I guess it's time for bed
So I'll just
log off, and saw some logs instead
