Every now and then a light shines through

To let you know someone's thinking of you

Every now and then someone's thinking of you

To let you know someone's touching you

Every now and then it rains down on you

To let you know that you'll get through

Every now and then there's dark clouds overhead

Better days are coming, go where you are lead

Every now and then you're reminded of your value

By family and friends, and it helps to get you through

Every now and then a love comes along

To let you know there's somewhere you belong

Every now and then two people drift apart

To let you know just how strong is your heart

For with the strength backed up by your soul

You'll overcome life's obstacles, wherever you will go

Every now and then changes happen to you

To let you know that you'll know what to do

Every now and then someone writes a poem

To let you know you're loved and aren't alone
