Mina
by Bud Lemire on Dec 30,

She's always
trying, to be the perfect host
She thinks
she does less, but she does the most
She became a
caregiver, when her spouse became ill
Never
underestimate her strength, or underestimate her will
She gives her
very best, she knows how to give
Making his
days, so much more pain free to live
She rises to
his needs, time and time again
They've been
many places, what a special friend
So
appreciative of life, and of its beauty
Takes pride
in her...wifely duty
For him, her
love is never too old
A Norwegian
lady, with a heart of gold
With a
cockatiel named Louie on her back
She'll share
in a treat of a corn curls snack
If you're a
regular visitor to their home
She'll offer
you food, and won't leave you alone
What I like
most about her, is everything she sees
Of the people
she meets, their good qualities
She has such
a wonderful smile
Eat an apple
and stay awhile
She'd love to
know, all about you
You'll feel
her spirit, before you're through
She's Mina,
and the world's a much better place
Because it's
been honored, by her touch of grace
When I was hired to
take care of Ernie, who started Ernie's Party Store,
it turned out to be a
wonderful adventure indeed.
His wife Mina was a
wonderful soul who I came to know and
become great friends
with. With her and Rick we would take trips together
and I would always
bring my camera along to take pictures. She had a bubbly
personality and very
open and bold quality that made her so very special.
