Accepting all life offers, is the way to be

Expecting too much, your love can not flow free

If you take for granted, the simple things each day

Appreciate everything and everyone, as you go on your way

Accepting everything, makes your life more complete

There are some who don't have full use of their feet

Think of all the effort, to always go uphill

But they are level headed, and they have a strong will

Many of us stand upright, and walk on level ground

But still we keep expecting more, wherever we are bound

I find life more rewarding, to go along for the ride

To accept all that comes my way, and touches me inside

You don't have to like everyone, but appreciate who they are

For each are on the journey of life, and each have traveled far

You don't have to like everything, that happens every day

Life is always changing, things never stay the same way

Accepting all life offers, is a choice you make

Appreciating life's pleasures, understanding life's ache

Comforting those around you, when they're feeling down

Bringing smiles to the faces, that once had worn a frown
