Put
Yourself In My Position

Put Yourself
In My Position
Use your mind
for intuition
Until you do
you'll never know
What makes me
high, what makes me low
You look at
me from your own place
To understand
where I am, here's the case
For just one
day, try being me
You'd
understand all I feel and see
You think you
can decide what is the right thing to do
You are not
me, so you don't even have a clue
Your choices
are made from where you are
To me your
advise is from a distant star
To truly
understand me, you've got to put yourself in my shoes
Then and only
then, will you have the right to choose
It's a choice
to live or to die
To be me is
to understand why
It's gotten
much easier when choosing to pass
Because our
human lives never do last
Until you are
me
Which will
never be
The choices
are mine to make
The outcomes
are ones I'll take
Put yourself
in my position, you'll know the right thing to do
Then you will
understand every day, how hard it is to get through
It's not easy putting
yourself in someone else's place
But only then can we
ever understand where they are coming from
We always see things
from where we are, not where they are
It's time to change our
way of thinking
and think with a more
open mind
