Rainbow Of Hope
By Bud Lemire on Feb 1,
2004
I was playing
basketball, with some people that I knew
When there
before my eyes, was the most beautiful view
The
countryside, with green grass and flowers everywhere
Hills in the
distance, and all I could do was stare
It was time
for a break, so I stepped away
I look up to
the sky, at the clouds of gray
A wind came
swirling along, like a storm was about to start
All of a
sudden out of nowhere, the clouds began to part
The sky
turned blue, the bluest I've ever seen
The sun was
shining brightly, the grass the greenest green
Behind the
clouds, was a huge glowing light shining
There was a
bright colorful rainbow, that was almost blinding
Colors never
seen before, I was breathless and in awe
I pointed up
for my friends, to gaze at what I saw
It was as if
I could reach out, and touch this rainbow
Full and it
was perfect, with a radiant colorful glow
It was
exciting, calm, and peaceful, and I was filled with love
Out of this
world and breathtaking, was what I was thinking of
It was a
rainbow, like I've never seen before
I was in a
daze, and feeling so much more
This rainbow
shined, this bright light of white light
Beaming rays
in the distance, it was quite a sight
It
transformed people, hundreds maybe thousands in lines and rows
All kinds,
sizes, ages, these people formed the rainbow
It was a
rainbow of people, of all colors and all races
Love,
happiness, cheerfulness, was seen on all their faces
Transcending
and blissful, then they started coming our way
A healing
message, changes for us all in the coming day
I saw where I
was at right now, and where I came from
I saw where I
can go to, and where I'll be in times to come
Togetherness,
healing, there were no words to describe
It was true
and real, and it made me feel alive
It was so
powerful, the highest level I've known
Peace and
love and uplifting, I have surely grown
Every word
imaginable, cheerfulness and fun
I must share
this message of hope, with each and everyone
This poem was taken
from my friend DanOMite's
dream vision he had. I
just added it to poem
