Those
Blooming Flowers
by Bud Lemire on March 8,
2003
It's been a
long rainy winter, and I really long
For those
blooming flowers, and birds that sing their song
To see all
the daisies, and the daffodils
And those
dandelions, that cover all the hills
To see the
rhododendrons, and the upcoming crocus
Brings me
closer to nature, when I'm out of focus
The tulips
and the lilies, beauty for our eyes
And to see
the fluttering, of the butterflies
The azalea
and the hyacinth, for our eyes to see
Not to be
neglected, by the buzzing bumblebee
It sure does
make me happy, to see the flowers in the Spring
Makes me
whistle a happy tune, makes my heart sing
The iris and
the pansies, and the primrose
Smells of
flowers in the air, right before our nose
The
geraniums, the lilacs, oh what a smell
They got me
dancing, puts me in a spell
The petunias,
the fox gloves, and the forget-me-nots
And all those
blooming flowers, in the flower pots
Queen Anne's
Lace, the oxeye daisies, and the fireweed
All share in
nature's beauty, that started from a seed
What a
special presence, that's given to us all
A bouquet of
flowers, to keep us standing tall
