Those
Leprechauns
by Bud Lemire on March 17,

Those
Leprechauns are at it again, on this St. Patrick’s Day
How do they
seem to do it, and always get away
They set my
clock, forty five minutes ahead
And so I got
up earlier, out of my bed
Relaxing at
the computer, that belongs to my Father-In-Law
And there
upon the screen, I couldn't believe what I saw
My wife and I
logged on, but how could this be
Our computer
was in storage, so how could that be me
I tell you,
are my eyes seeing what I think
This would be
a good time, for me to have a drink
Maybe a cup
of Irish Tea, no Leprechauns involved
As I ponder
on these happenings, wondering if they will be solved
Could it be,
someone captured me in a time loop
Maybe next
thing I know, I'll be using a Hula Hoop
I don't know
why or how, and maybe it's for the best
To play with
my senses, and put them to a test
I tell you
what I say here, is as exactly as I've seen
And I have
two witnesses, so it was not a dream
I'm sure glad
Those Leprechauns, only come around once a year
Hey! What is
this clover, doing stuck inside my ear
