Mold Your Life

Mold Your Life

by Bud Lemire on May 26, 2003.

Mold your life, as though it were a piece of clay

Shape it to fit you, in each and every way

Use your hands, and let your imagination run free

Let the artist out, of all things that will be

Create yourself a routine, but learn the new things too

Appreciate your surroundings, take in every view

Fit in all the pieces, you find along the way

Share your spoken knowledge, with everything you say

With your written thoughts, teaching others as you learn

It all comes back to you, with each new day's turn

Everything can't be learned all at once, to learn every lesson

The time on Earth moves slowly, give thanks and a blessing

Some things are like sculptures, beauty so divine

Others crack to the touch, crossing a thin line

The perfect life, varies for everyone who seeks

Our highest point in life, has several different peaks

Each path you take, is all molded by you

You can change the outcome, if you feel it through

Touch and mold your life, as if it were a piece of clay

And shape it into a masterpiece, as life takes you on your way
