In your possession, you have the key to my heart

With you in my life, it'll never fall apart

Whenever you need it, it'll be there for you

I know in your hands, you'll know what to do

Because of your past, you carry some fear

The pain that's inside, to have someone near

But just as you know, and have always known

My heart is true, and to you, I have shown

For in me, you've trusted, to a love that is true

And deep inside you know, that I really love you

The spirits are guiding us, I'm sure you will find

That our hearts belong together, that's your love, and mine

Our love for each other, will be the strongest love it can be

With me loving you, and you loving me

It'll be so special, like nothing ever before

Our spirits will always be together, forever more

You and I together, have come a long way

We've held each other, throughout every day

You're healing the pain, that hurt you so bad

I'm so happy you love me, I'm just so glad

It's a long road, that we have yet to walk

But I'll always be here, if you need to talk

At your own pace, I am always here for you

To always hold you close, and help you through

I am gentle, I am good, and I am kind

Our love together, is what we both needed to find

Love of my life, you have the key to my heart

Our love will hold strong, never shall we part

I'm not sure if I wrote this with anyone in mind, except

for anyone who came into my life who could love me.

That person would have the key to my heart.
