The Illusion Of Life

by Bud Lemire on Oct 18, 2007

You live in a place, the illusion of life
Where you’re a Mother, a worker, and a wife
But when you’re asleep, you’re taken away
To another place, where your love can play

You manifest what your future will hold
Where you will be, until you grow old
You are the driver, of your destiny
Which road will you take, where will you be

Which is the illusion, and which one is real
Which one is stronger, and how do you feel
For you weave your life, in all that you do
The art of your soul, is the beauty of you

Decisions are made, in each path we take
Some go on sleeping, while others will wake
Will you stay sleeping and snore
Or do you wish to have so much more

Only you can distinguish what is real
All you have to do is reach out and feel
To know what is this and what is that
In the Illusion Of Life , you’ll know where it’s at
