In a world that's filled with lies

Where the truth is in disguise

It's not easy finding someone to trust

But when you do, it is a plus

It is easy to rely

Upon the words within a lie

But it's honesty, that's needed here

So that all things will be clear

If your life is based on lies

You take part in things unwise

And one lie leads to more

Than you ever thought before

You'll be covering up more things

And whatever else it brings

Do you really want to lie

On your lips, as they pass by

Or to do what will be right

And be embraced by truthful light

There's full use of your heart

When you let all the lies depart

You'll be cleaned, not to deceive

And open for love to receive

In a world that's filled with lies

Where the truth is for the wise

Lies only lead to bigger problems.

So tell the truth, and you'll feel

much better inside.
