Your Guiding Light

I'm always taken in by your shining light

It guides me, through the darkest night

When it is, shining down on me

I can look around, and I can see

I feel the love, that is everywhere

And with my own, I just want to share

It's a token of my love for you

And caring for others, is what I love to do

In their difficult times, I like to help them through

Because I know, that is what you would do

With the light, that you have shared with me

I give to others, so they will be happy

It's not always easy, maintaining this gift

For there are many, who are caught in a rift

I shine my light, on those who are in need

It spreads over them, like a new sown seed

Like a seed that is planted, it needs water to grow

From me comes the words, that they need to know

I try to comfort them of their fears

And stop the flowing, of the falling tears

I want to thank you, for Your Guiding Light

That shines down on me, on my darkest night

The light surrounds me, so that I can be

The guiding light, to help others to see

Just thinking about the guidance from spirit.

How they help is in this life from where they are.
