Right On The Mark

Right On The Mark

© by Bud Lemire on Jan 12, 2009

I see him early morning, working in the dark

He lives here too, and his name is Mark

A family life, some daughters, but no son

I've taken note of how he treats everyone

He truly cares when there's been a loss

His condolences shows he understands the cost

He'll help out anyone, a little here and there

He shows the residents that he's well aware

I once had a good chat with him, in the laundry room

Another time a treasured old newspaper almost went to it's doom

Thanks to him, it came to his attention

He knew it was time for an intervention

I see him in the morning, vacuuming and mopping the floor

On a snowy morning, he's snow blowing outside the door

In the summer time he's mowing the grass

Other times in the hallway and elevator we'd pass

He came in to wash my windows one time

Got rid of the bug smudges and all of the grime

He represents the future of the Tower in a great way

We're Right On The Mark, is what I'd say

Happy Birthday Mark! Hope your day is a great one (Jan 31).
