She
Doesn't Love Me Anymore
by Bud Lemire on March 30,
2004
She doesn't
love me anymore
She reached
in and stabbed my very core
When did it
all start
She stopped
loving my heart
I've always
tried my best
To take on
life's test
I've always
been me
What couldn't
she see
What changed
to cause this
Into a
shallow cold kiss
Her touch she
pulls back
My world has
turned black
I know I must
be strong
Do my best to
carry on
It's not easy
but I'll try
I shake, feel
numb, and always cry
She doesn't
love me anymore
Like she once
did before
The colours
turned to gray
So I know I
can't stay
She doesn't
love me anymore
My soul sure
does feel sore
It's time to
step back
Face up to
this fact
My wife asked for a
separation,
she told me she doesn't
love me anymore
