She's Closer Than You Think

She's closer than you think

With you she has a special link

I know her soul has passed

But the memories will always last

I know with a thought, she'll come close

Her spirit embraces, those she loves the most

She's guiding us, her spirit is near

When I was away, she brought me back here

She comes to mind, with everything I see

But I feel her most, climbing my family tree

She gave so much, to those she was around

Sharing and caring, wherever she was found

I didn't know her family well, but I can see

You were a special part, of her family

To each of us, she was a special friend

Treasured memories, we use to spend

We are blessed with special people, so we'll know

When they leave us, it helps us to grow

And one day, we will meet again

To embrace in spirit, with our special friend
