This is what happens when time takes a hold of you

You find yourself heading somewhere you never knew

Into the future and older with each passing year

Tell me now, does your life become more clear

Is there anything you would change if you could?

If you could, I wonder if you really would

You pick the path that leads you to this place

The roads traveled, like wrinkles upon your face

You've aged, but you've also grown

Wisdom gained with all you've known

Even with the pain you must face each day

The soul inside you will find another way

You're stronger than you know

If you listen to your soul

It will show you the path that's right

When you can't see, it'll be the light

The future becomes the past

And today will never last

Time is moving all around

Where you are is where you'll be found

Each decision is your choice to make

The journey you're on is yours to take

Choose wisely, don't look back with regret

Calm your soul, no need to be upset

Your soul will warm you when you feel cold

You'll understand and accept everything, when Time Takes A Hold

When Time Takes A Hold, which it does every moment that you live. All you can do is just flow with it, and let it take you where it will. Is your life where you want it to be? Are you happy with who you've become? Time can change you, but you can also change time. It's never too late as long as you live and breathe. If you don't like who you are.....then be someone you like. If you don't like where you are, then be somewhere you like to be. If you don't like who you're with, then be with someone you like. Time is in your hands. You're in control of everything that flows around you in the stream of time. Don't waste time wondering what could have been, do it now. This time will never come again.
