Winter Love

Winter Love

2002 by Bud Lemire

You and I close together, by the fireplace

Feeling the warmth of our love, in our embrace

As the snow falls, we are as one together

Nothing to stop these feelings, no matter the weather

Making angels in the snow

Leaving tracks wherever we go

Seeing the beauty, as the snow falls in place

Seeing the beauty, in the smile upon your face

We are intertwined, letting our love flow

Together we are one, outside falls the snow

Time passes, but we don't really care

Locked in the love, that you and I share

Throwing snowballs, high into the air

Caught up in the moment, we make a good pair

The happiness we feel, as we are close together

A winter love, in this seasonal weather

We make the most of our time, as the snow falls

As our love joins together, the spiritual calls

Outside may be frozen, but we'll never freeze

Feeling the embrace of love, there's a warm gentle breeze
