Your Space

Your Space

by Bud Lemire on Jan 22, 2004

When you're feeling good, right there in your place

And take pride in giving each other some space

To do what each other, likes to enjoy

Not pick at the issue, and easily annoy

How much time is enough time apart

When two people should be sharing a heart to heart

A cuddle while watching TV sure would be great

Because Time passes quickly, and special moments won't wait

So much of your time is in front of that screen

While I try to understand just what it all means

How do I tell you to cut down your time

I think two hours online would be just fine

If tomorrow should come, and I'm not around

Is that the place where you would be found?

I married you and I love you very much

I know you feel the same so let us touch

I try my best to give you your needed space

But I need some attention face to face

Life isn't a game and this overtime must end

If I'm to continue to be...your best friend
