Your
Time Is Precious
by Bud Lemire on July 13,

A bird hit my
window, waking me from a nap
It was too
loud, to be an ordinary tap
It brought me
back, to a time long ago
In another
place, a bird hit a window
Back then, it
woke me from a snooze
Bringing me a
message, that I could use
Your time is
precious, too valuable to lose
To be caught
up, sleeping away your blues
Now I’m not
depressed, never thought I was blue
But sometimes
life, can have a strong grip on you
And you must
relax, calm yourself to a life of ease
And you’re
the only one, that you should please
We spend so
much wasted time, trying to please someone
And easily
fail, when the day is all done
But when we
please ourselves, we always come first
It’s the
greatest pleasure, quenching our thirst
Your time is
precious, use it wisely
Learn how to
fly, so all things will be
Float on a
cloud, with every moment
Value each
message, and how it was sent
