Pictures were taken a long time ago

Of the people back then, some that I know

Alma took them and put them into a book

So that years later, we can all look

The people come alive, with each picture I see

Familar faces I know in my family tree

My Mother was young in these pictures in the book

But as time passed she grew into a great family cook

Great Grandpa Theophile and his wife Marie

On a farm in Schaffer, their cows I did see

Great Aunt Edna and Grandma Alma too

The Duford Orchestra, playing music they knew

Alma's brother Louis & Virginia and their family

Ruby, Stafford, Chester, Viola, and twins Tommy and Woody

Another Brother Bill, who was also on hand

Growing up on a farm, tending the land

Grandpa's family was in the pictures as well

They were the Joints, it was easy to tell

Grandpa Adrien, people say I look like

I bet he enjoyed, riding a bike

Oh Alma, thank you so very much
