Family Reunion 2005

The butterflies were dancing, in a special way

As a family reunited, on this cloudy day

To take in the memories, of a long ago past

In the state of the present, and making them last

The young ones were fishing, casting their pole

At the U.P. Fairgrounds, at the fishing hole

As relatives arrived, and were greeted and met

The rest of the family, was getting the food set

Finally all family members, arrived at the scene

The sun shined so brightly, on the grass so green

We filled up our plates, with the food that was brought

Everything tasted great, is exactly what I thought

The clouds got much darker, we'd have to move fast

To take pictures of the present, for the future to look back on our past

The rain started falling, everyone stood in their place

While pictures were taken, drops fell on our face

Soon it was time, to pack up and go

I'm so proud of this family, that I got to know

For all my family.....Blessings.
