Footprints
in The Snow
©2002 by Bud Lemire
I
saw some Footprints In The Snow
I
followed them, not sure where else to go
I
was getting tired and frustrated, and thought that I would cry
Then
as I was looking up, a woman’s face appeared in the sky
Words
were not spoken, in thoughts they came to me
And
I knew she was important, in my family tree
Although
our time together was short, everything became clear
The
answers that I searched for, were coming very near
Her
messages were calming, as they came into my mind
And
her smiling face told me, I knew what I would find
I
wasn’t tired or frustrated, as I set forth upon that trail
I
knew no matter what I did, I would never fail
It
was my Grandmother Alma, from Heaven up above
And
she was guiding me, with all of her spiritual love
I
never got to meet her, long ago she left this place
I
recognized her from pictures, and knew her smiling face
We
have so much in common, my Grandmother and me
I
love music, taking pictures, genealogy, and so did she
If
I was to read into this dream I had, in a certain kind of way
I
believe she’s my Guardian Angel, who’s with me everyday
