Baby
Shower
by Bud Lemire on April 30,

There's a
Baby Shower coming, I wonder what I'll wear
I wonder if
that means, they'll be landing everywhere
Falling from
the sky, all the girls and the boys
All those
little people, making goo goo ga ga noise
All in many
sizes, falling everywhere
Many
different colors, with very little hair
I hope that
they'll have diapers, but if they are brand new
I would guess
they wouldn't, so it'll smell P U
I hope that
they land softly, as they make their fall
Then they
will be able, to easily start to crawl
I wonder if
they'll know, exactly where to go
Being newly
born, they have yet to grow
So many
questions, about this Baby Shower
Does this
only happen, at a certain hour
Or does it
happen, at the right time and place
Or could it
also happen, far out in Outer Space
Maybe there
are Baby Showers happening, across the universe
Just too many
all at once, things couldn't get any worse
Those Baby
Showers, would keep you on the run
I prefer the
babies, to fall in drops of one
