She Dances Between Worlds

She Dances Between Worlds

She dances between worlds, the physical and the In-Between

When her pain gets so bad, and she can still be seen

Her soul leaves her body, for a Time-Out

The Other Side, is what I'm talking about

In the physical world, she loses some time

When her Spiritual Self, crosses over the line

It gives her a break, from all her pain

She crosses over briefly, and lets her body remain

The Transition has started, who knows when it'll be

When she crosses over forever, to leave her body

She's getting use to the other side, but isn't ready to go

These brief visits there, are helping her to prepare and know

She's not afraid, although she has some things yet to do

Some plans for the near future, she wants to get through

She doesn't want it to happen quite yet, not before

She has a chance to experience them, before she's at Heaven's door

It's strange when she's standing, and crossing the line

Returns to her body, and notices the time

Sometimes it's five minutes, sometimes it's more

At least she now knows, what is in store

She lives between worlds, if you know what I mean

When “She Dances Between Worlds”, the Physical and the In-Between

Sometimes when your life is nearing the end, you find yourself with

one foot in the physical world, and one foot on the Other Side. Many

will find themselves talking to many relatives that have crossed long

before. Or seeing them appear only to them. The veil between the

physical world and the Spiritual World lifts so it is easier for them

to step over.

Dana, My Friend

Dana, My Friend

© by Bud Lemire on July 11, 2021

Washington school was the first time we met

We got to be friends, which I shall never forget

We drifted apart and went our own way, as some friends do

Occasionally we'd meet up, talk about what we've been through

He was working on his Lancour family, in genealogy

My Lemires came from the same place, in my family tree

I gave him some guidance, and he did the rest

He had it all done perfect, he did his best

In 2010 at the park, we had a little Class Reunion at the Pavilion there

Before we went, he stopped by with some Green Beans he wanted to share

Next time I saw him, was in 2013 at a Class Reunion we had

We had a photo taken of our Washington school friends, I must add

One day he called me, said he had some books for me

So he brought them over, so that I could see

I never realized, he enjoyed the same books as I

He recommended some, that had passed me by

Then I'd see him working at Elmer's and Meijer as well

He stopped to chat briefly, with some news to tell

After that, it was Facebook, is where he would be

The next time will be Heaven, when my soul is free

I remember whenever I met Dana after a long time

of not seeing him, he would come up and shake my

hand. He'd say it's good to see you Buddy(my childhood

nickname). I still have the books he gave me, and I cherish

them. Even though I read some of them, I shall think of him

when I read the others, and say a silent prayer of thanks

for his thoughtfulness for thinking of me for the books.

One Journey Ends

One Journey Ends

© by Bud Lemire on July 10, 2021

It could have been anyone, that it happened to

It might have been me, but it turned out to be you

I wonder what it is, that goes through your mind

If I found myself there, I am not sure what I would find

We live our lives, never wishing to be ill

Taking all that we can, trying to get our fill

We give what we can, in love, which is right

Never realizing someday, we'd have such a fight

On the brink of death, choices must be made

They're made for us, as we start to fade

Some of us think, it'll be the unknown

Others think, they'll go alone

I believe, someone who passed will come along

And will guide us to where we belong

An Angel, a relative, or even a friend

Although our life is over, it won't end

I believe this for you, my friend, this I do

Whatever you believe, I'm praying for you

May your journey beyond, be a better one

You've journeyed, and your struggle is done

Our soul goes on after our bodies have ceased.

It's another adventure in the spirit world. They

watch over those who are still living. Awaiting

their return to where they are now. No pain,

no problems, yet always learning, just like we

did while we were alive.
