Living In A Covid World

We're living in a Covid world,

We should be living on the moon

But even if we lived there,

Covid would get to us soon.

The New Variant is now going around,

It might even get to you.

And it is wherever people are found,

Just in case you never knew.

Just when you thought it was over and done,

Comes a variant newly born.

To add to all with even more Covid fun,

That's why I blow my horn.

Some may have the same symptoms, as someone you know

Ignorant people won't think they have it, it just goes to show

They say that everyone, will have their turn

To experience this new Covid, maybe some will learn

No matter where you are, no matter where you go

Covid will arrive there, and put on a sickening show

Oh yes, Covid will get you, it's going to get you soon

We're living in a Covid world, we should be living on the moon

The new variant has reached where we live, and people are

getting it now. As I said, some still won't believe there is

such a thing, while others will know they have it. Listen

to your Doctors and Medical staff, many of them know.

Let it run it's course, rest, and follow what your Doctor

tells you. Hopefully it won't last long. I wish you well.

I hope it's not too hard on you, and you come out of this

feeling much better.

I'm shedding my skin, I'm shedding my body

I'm going to a place, where I won't need the potty

It's a place, where we are made of light and energy

In this wonderful place, you will know the real me

It's more than you can imagine, in this special place

It's the home of each soul, of the human race

You can be, in more than one place at a time

If you were sick as a human, here, you're at your prime

There's so much you can do, and that you can be

So much you can learn, so much you can see

Leave your anger here, it's not needed there

Your senses will be busy, you'll be fully aware

The colors there, are the best you'll ever see

Take it all in, because that is the key

The music there, is the best you will hear

It'll spark all your senses, without having an ear

You may not remember, but you've been here before

Then you went to Earth, you wanted to learn more

So you became human, inside was your soul

To learn all you could, that was your goal

When your time was finished, your life was all done

You shed your body, and returned to your loved one

The soul lives on, while your human body ends.

The human body was not meant to last forever

as you know. But the soul lives on for an eternity.

The lessons and what you have learned to value,

return with you. The place you started from.

You are Home once again. You find out so much.

You're reunited with all those who went Home in

your lifetime. It's quite amazing when you think

about it.

With A Smile (Mike Thompson)

I first met Mike, he was my neighbor on the fifteenth floor

We'd always stop and chat, who could ask for any more

His smile was felt by everyone, when we caught his eye

He had a warmth inside his heart, he was a special guy

He joked around with everyone, in his own special way

Whenever he said anything to me, it always made my day

“Hey Bud, the Mayor wants you to take pictures for him next week”

He always wore that smile, and had a way whenever he would speak

He liked music, he asked me to burn him a CD

Close to a year later, he never forgot he owed me

Out came his wallet, and he'd hand me a ten dollar bill

I wasn't worried about the money, I was impressed by his memory skill

Everyone I've talked to, had something great to say about Mike

There wasn't anything about him, that we didn't like

When he married Bev, he wanted me to take pictures for him there

I was so happy for their union, and a love they both could share

Don't worry Mike, you've left this world behind

You're in the afterlife, and I'm sure that you will find

Everything is much better there, always listen to your soul

Your journey here is over, now you are once again whole

Many of us will grieve, because it is a great loss

Yet we know we'll see you again, when it's our time to cross

Let me end this poem, by thanking you for being a great friend to me

May your journey in Spirit, be the best that it can ever be

Mike, we're saddened that your journey here had to end so soon.

Yet, I know Heaven is a special place, and I also know you

will watch over those you are close to here. You

will meet my girlfriend there, and many others

who have passed from the Harbor Tower.

Loretta and so many others.

You've got a wonderful soul my friend.

The Veil Is Fading

 

The Veil Is Fading

They say the veil is fading, more people are passing through

It seems to be happening more, so I believe it to be true

They are crossing over, into the spiritual place

Leaving behind on Earth, all the problems they had to face

You see, their journey here, was experience for the soul

Down the path and through the veil, they now have another role

To help and guide the ones still here, to meet their journey's end

They stand behind us and guide us, with the love they send

Your belief might be, “They are gone and dead”

While they stand beside you, and hear every word you said

Many times I wished I could hear them, there are some who do

They pass on messages to me, and they are all true

In dreams they come to you, so that you'll know

Their journey is in spirit, and they are more whole

They're by your side, guiding you every day

The love you share, will never fade away

Think positive, and know they're surrounded by the light

They're a friendly spirit, that touches you in the night

The veil is fading, so many are taken home

But that's not the only place, that they seem to roam

The veil is fading and growing thinner. I find lately, more people

are crossing through that veil to the “other side.” Heaven! Over

there it is so much better than the life they had here. Everything

there is enhanced and so beautiful beyond description. Everything

is magnified as well. I have never visited there while in this lifetime.

Those who have, say they never want to leave. I look forward to seeing

all my family and friends when I arrive there. I know Vicki will be

waiting for me there too. She's waiting to give me a big hug, and I am

so looking forward to that. But for now, let me enjoy my time here.
