Don't Talk Down To Me

Don't talk down to me

You don't know everything, you see

You think you're better than everyone

You're really not, when the day is done

So I can't spell, my grammar needs work

Step down from your soap box, you jerk

If you were smart, you'd certainly know

To not correct everyone, wherever you go

It's a good way, to get friends mad at you

They're friends, it's something you shouldn't do

I know, you feel you are doing something right

Leading them, into a more knowledgeable light

Maybe their light, shines elsewhere

A place unknown, and it's there

They may shine, at something else they do

It may be something, that you never knew

So hold yourself back

Please don't attack

There are things you can not see

So, please, don't talk down to me

For the people who feel others are stupid

because of their grammar or spelling or

something else. Maybe there is another

reason for why they spelled it that way.

Whatever the case, trying to correct them

only makes them feel more animosity towards

you. Let it go! Be a better person, and ignore.

Heavenly Valentines Day

This Valentines Day, Heaven is where you'll find my love

Dancing among the spirits, on a cloud above

I'll be joining with her soul, wrapped around mine

In a spiritual embrace, that'll be so divine

We'll fly away, into the Astral Stream

When I wake up, it'll be like a dream

Yet I'll know, it was as real as it can be

The love of my life, was loving me

Inside the human, that she left here

Is a happy spirit, now living without fear

Her journey continues, as a soul filled with love

On this Valentines Day, it's her I'm thinking of

In spirit we'll dance, in a tight loving embrace

Two beings of light and energy, in a special place

We'll dance together, while my body will sleep

It's an experience I'll enjoy, one I'll always keep

Our love never died, and it will never end

She'll always be my lover, and my best friend

It's the greatest feeling, this love in this way

I'm enjoying her love, on a Heavenly Valentines Day

Thank you so very much Vicki, for sharing your love

with me. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful

soul looking over me and guiding me as I continue

this journey on Earth. I shall continue to value the

things we both loved here on Earth, and make every

day count.

A Friend Named Steve

I was told, in Louisiana, he fell out of a tree

Helping out, after a hurricane, and fell quickly

He ended up at Harbor Tower, and needed care

Through the agency I worked for, I became aware

Looking back ten years ago, it seems like a dream

Donna wanted me to help with him, be part of the team

I was shy at first, but then I got to know him

Donna would come by, to give him a trim

We got to know each other well

I'd listen to his past that he would tell

Trips to Beaver Island, with his Dad

All the plane trips, that they had

On TV during the day, he watched CNN News

We both agreed, and had the same political views

In the evening, it was “Archer,” “Futurama,” and “Family Guy”

I'd stay until work was done, visit awhile, and say goodnight and bye

He'd tease me for a reaction, and watch my face

I always had a snappy comeback, to put him in his place

He said to me once, “It's great to have another intelligent person to talk to”

As the time passed by, the friendship that we had come to know, grew

Whenever there was something, that I didn't want to do

He'd joke around, and we always made it through

He was a good man, and also very smart

If you knew him like I did, he had a good heart

Steve, you made it to the spirit world now. You

can walk, and do many things you couldn't before.

You are free of the limitations your body gave you.

We are all free of our limitations when we pass.

Thank you for being a friend of mine. As I was

there for you, you were also there for me. The

world out there is a cruel place, and we fought

our fears together. Thank you my friend.

Our Neighbor & Friend, Barb

She was our neighbor, lived in the house in back for years

We'd visit when she lived there, she'd calm many of my fears

Barb and Bob moved, across the alley after awhile

I babysat for her, and can still remember her smile

Through her, I met her siblings, who became friends

Just like in any life, our time here on Earth ends

A heart attack, made her weak and frail

She kept trying, but this year, she had to bail

She passed over into spirit, her health issues are no more

She gathered with her family in Heaven, that she knew before

Dave and Jerry, her parents, and so many others

She was happy to see them all, especially her brothers

I saw her every Friday, when I went to Elmer's for my fish there

We'd stop and chat, she was a friend who always seemed to care

The last time I saw her, she was on her front porch that day

I visited with her and her brother, we always had something to say

I will always remember, the visits that we had

In my memories, I will smile and be glad

She supported me, like the brothers she loved so much

In this lifetime, I was glad to feel her touch

When she lived in the house behind us on North 14^th Street

She'd come and sit on her front porch and we would be on

our back porch and we'd talk. When things bothered me

or scared me, she would talk to me, and calm me. I

remember at that time she would come outside, and

have to go in to check on the pies she was baking with

graham cracker crusts. She was that kind of person,

she would take on everything, to lessen everyone's

worries. Everything will be okay, she'd say. I can

say I've always liked her, and glad to call her friend.

They Crossed Over

 

They Crossed Over

She had just passed over, yet she didn't know what to do

Her body just stopped breathing, she had to get a message through

She knew his cousin can hear and see, spirits who have passed

The Spirit World's calling me, so I better make it fast

She went on to meet her family, and her lover's Mother

So many spirits she knew there, she even met his brother

She's still learning, how to be a spirit over there

And is finding it easier, to go almost anywhere

Every night, she spends time with the one she loves most

He can feel her, but can't see her, she's just like a ghost

At least he knows, because her love is felt in bed

Because of his belief, he knows that she's not dead

Another has crossed over, it's a client that he had

“First I crossed, then his client crossed, now he's really sad”

His client didn't believe in the afterlife, he didn't know where he was

Vicki was new to helping spirits cross over, so she found someone who does

In the afterlife, his client really didn't believe

He was totally amazed, and knew some would grieve

He left his health issues behind, when he left his bed

“Bud was right! I'm more alive, and I'm not dead”

You see, now this client who passed can live once more

He can walk again, he is whole again, and he can soar

Some may believe this to be made up and not true

Some may believe that it is true and messages came through.

Believe me, it is true, at least most of it is. It's about my

Vicki, and my client who passed. I write this in honor

of two wonderful souls who are now living in the spirit world

The one I love most visits me, to remind me, our love will

never die. Love is eternal.

The World Has Changed

Over the last few years, the world sure has changed

With politics and viruses, it sure seems so deranged

People against people, you see it here and there

Lies and deception, are happening everywhere

Many people don't even see, what's before their eyes

What keeps on growing, are those terrible lies

When you do something wrong, justice should be paid

Yet it keeps getting worse, it just won't fade

Fighting for their rights, they sing a battle song

All the leader wants, is to right what's been wrong

You may see this differently, but I'll tell you what I see

A world that has gone backwards, into history

We shouldn't be fighting each other, the truth is plain to know

Yet stupidity is found everywhere, how will we ever grow

In years to come, they'll study what has happened here today

And find out what went wrong, someone will have to pay

For now I think we need to get wise, our future is on trial

So once again we'll have peace, and we can all smile

Study all that's happened, facts are all right there

The world has changed, and it should be better everywhere

When something happens that shouldn't have happened, then

something isn't right. Anyone who believes in the riot that hit

Washington DC, needs to think again. The Covid virus should

never have been, and yet it happened. If we had been warned

by our leader, we could have prevented a lot of the many deaths

that it caused and will cause. It's common sense, use it.

In Sickness And In Health

When two people marry, it's for a love that they share

To honor, to value, and forever to care

Yet life throws a curve ball, and one will get sick

Too much pressure to handle, and one will leave quick

I've been hearing a lot, about someone leaving

While the one that is sick, stays and is grieving

She never asked to be sick, her companion was gone

She battles this illness alone, from dusk until dawn

In sickness and in health, is what was said

On the day they came together, when they were wed

He thought it would be too hard, couldn't handle it all

It's even tougher when alone, he sure had his gall

A real man or woman, will stick by their spouse

Through the worst of times, and not be a mouse

For if it was truly love, you got it all wrong

A weak spouse who left, isn't considered strong

I for one would stand by, the one that I love

Because it's the right thing, it's all I think of

For she gave me her all, and I'll stand by her side

And help her through it, because she was my bride

Until death do we part, I'll always be there

And help her through, all the suffering she'll bear

When it's someone you love, it's the right right thing to do

Together, forever, helping each other through

When you love someone, you stand by each other's side.

You help each other through the best of times and the

worst of times. You don't leave them. What kind of person

are you? Love empowers you to always do the right

thing. If not, it was never love at all.

Vicki And The Angel

 

V: Where am I?

Angel: You're with us dear

V: I've crossed over?

Angel: Yes, but fear not, we are with you

V: But my friends, my family, I didn't get to say goodbye

Angel: They know you've passed in your sleep.

V: But there's someone I need to get a message to

Angel: He already knows how much you love him. He felt you in the night.

V: Oh, I need to let him know I am alright here.

Angel: He knows you are in loving hands, but he will miss your presence on the Earthly plane.

V: Will I be able to see him again, and be with him?

Angel: Yes, but he may not always know you are there. Other times, with a love that you shared, he will feel your love when it is close.

V: I'm glad to hear that. What about my Granddaughter?

Angel: She will get by. Thanks to the love you passed down to her.

V: It'll be so different here. I wish he was here with me.

Angel: There is no time here, but know this, it will go quickly and he will join you here before too long.

V: I'm glad to hear that. He was always there for me and helped me through some hard times.

Angel: You were the light that guided him as well. You brought him happiness and love every day he spent with you.

V: Thanks for telling me that

Angel: Now come along Vicki, you have a whole lot of reunions to get through, and reacquaint you with life in the Spirit World.

Bud: The love of my life, the woman I connected with 10 years ago strongly. My Twin Flame. Our souls have been together for over 10 years. She passed over to the other side last night. I shall miss her so very much. It will be hard to move on, but I know I will. Knowing she is in good hands, and that I will see her again when it's my time to go. I know she will be with me, as I walk that final chapter in my life.
