Telegram Of Love

Telegram Of Love

© by Bud Lemire on April 13, 2025

I didn't even know, that I was looking for love

Maybe it was divine intervention, a sign from above

I was browsing Facebook, the posts that I see

When Mary left me a comment, “Bud, would you message me?”

I was a little reluctant, but messaged her right away

Her positive comments, really made my day

I was on a chat place, it was called Telegram

Told her to download it, so she'd know who I am

We met up there often, while our souls made love all the time

We learned about each other, in poetic words that touched her soul and mine

We learned a little, about each other's past

We shared love, we knew ours would last

Her love uplifted me, so very much

Her gentleness, was a beautiful touch

Wise and wonderful, I loved our time together

The times we spend, will be the ones we treasure

Sweet Mary, hold me close and never let go

Our love together, will make us each whole

Remember your spirit, your soul can be free

Connected by the soul, you'll always have me

Mary, I love this connection with you and the visits we

have on Telegram. I love how you feel to me, and I am

deeply in love with you. As you said, “this is a rare” love

that is to be cherished for a lifetime.

Note: This is not the same Mary I wrote about earlier this year

She Cried It Out In Words

She Cried It Out In Words

© by Bud Lemire on April 6, 2025

She cried it out in words, she couldn't keep it in

Expressing her deepest thoughts, it was wearing thin

A little child cries from cancer. He doesn't understand the pain

Why would someone stop the research, that is so insane

Across the United States Of America, people live in fear

Never thinking that what's happening, could ever happen here

“They cut out all the food we get, what are we going to do?”

Eating only crackers, trying their best to get on through

“God is on my side, he will help me get by”

Did he help the boy who died from cancer, I'm still asking why

Did he put food on the table, that was taken away

We need to help each other, to live another day

She lived on Social Security, but it was cut down so low

She can't afford the rent and food, where is she to go

This woman from Canada, chained up and treated bad

It's things like this which happen, that makes me really mad

I love people of all races, I'd never do them wrong

The President is just golfing, with a side game of ping pong

I love women, not only as equal, I hold them far above

This President of the USA, knows nothing about love

I stand by everyone, who are against these reckless leaders

Who are doing their worst, as Presidential succeeders

The sadness and the tears, were felt the world around

As she cried it out in words, she never heard a sound

She cried because all her hope was gone. The cancer

research was stopped. Why? Food for the needy was stopped.

Why? Her social security was taken away. Why? She was

held in chains for coming to the USA. Why? He was degraded because he was black. Why? She was degraded by having to

report each miscarriage. Why? She was born a girl, but is now a guy. He should always follow his heart, but now it is the law. Why?

Before this year, and for many lifetimes, we never had to ask why.

My biggest question is “why should he and all his administration stay in power when they are separating this great country from our friends and each other. I say United we stand. Because we know what's right. It's in our heart, it's in our soul, and we've always known what's right.
