Heavenly Glow

They say that ole Tomcat just passed away
He'd be doing a lot of suffering, if he had to stay
So the Angels came, and away he went
You could say, he was “Heaven Sent”
He was a great man, many have said
The loss of him, found many tears shed
Many will miss his presence, it'll take awhile
He wants you to, think of him with a smile
He's over there now, with family and friends that have passed
He saw the end of his life, creeping up on him fast
His life he knew, would be a hard one to endure
He didn't know he'd survive it, he just wasn't sure
With Moonlight or Gumdrop, there by his side
Silently and out loud, in them he'd confide
“I don't know how I'll do it, but I'll give it my best”
What he really was hoping for, was a very long rest
The Medical staff in Zion cried
“One of the very best, has died”
Friends Karen and Sara, cried throughout the day
They prayed for him, hoping he would be okay
Tom's friend Munchkin, saw in the night
A smiling face, coming from the Light
“I'll see you soon buddy, I have to go”
A great man went home, with a Heavenly Glow
Tom passed away. He shall be missed by the many
who loved this great man. Now he is in a place
without suffering. He'll be watching over all the
family, and friends from the Heavenly place.
