Life Is Never Forever

In memory of our Classmates, who have passed away
We bow our heads in silent acknowledgment, on this day
Yes, we remember them, they were in our class
We followed their lives, until it was their turn to pass
Some passed way too soon, others before their time
Others hardly started life, some were in their prime
We've come here as a human, to experience life here
We become close to our Classmates, we hold them dear
Life is never forever, in this mortal form we hold
Some just don't live long enough, to see themselves grow old
If you're looking through a year book, and have a memory of a Classmate
They touched upon your heart and soul, and that is what I call fate
We look back to those days, before we became an adult
We look at each other today, and we see the end result
It's amazing how each person in our class, has really grown
In this journey of a lifetime, in all that we have known
I believe, deep within my soul, that our Classmates who have passed away
Came here to enlighten us with their presence, because they couldn't stay
We honor them with this Memorial, so you can be aware
Their love has touched us each, even though they're over there
I believe every time we remember a Classmate of ours, they know
we are acknowledging their time here with us. They are smiling at
us from the Spirit World. I also believe when we pass, we will see
them again. I also believe they attend each Class Reunion. Especially
when we set up a Memorial to remember them by.
