Like An Eggshell

Like An Eggshell

Like an Eggshell

It was easy to tell

She was cracked

Her yolks were stacked

The yellow and white

Were in her sight

Then she took a bite

It was pure delight

Cracked like an eggshell

I was under her spell

The Yolk was on me

And she would agree

I gave her a toast

She's better than most

To soak up the running yolk

She comes from good folk

I did this for a contest at AllPoetry

about eggshells.
