A Sticky Situation

As the glass fell spilling juice everywhere
I realized afterwards something I’d like to share
The sweet sticky liquid landed mostly on the floor
The glass didn’t break like many times before
 Some fell on the desk, some on my face
I stood there, my thoughts were out of place
It reminded me that life is similar in many ways
A sticky situation, we find ourselves in some days
 The glass that fell was completely unbroken
Nothing was shattered, no words were spoken
We go through sticky situations wherever we go
But through them all, we learn and we grow
 Getting angry doesn’t change all that came to be
Warm water and some soap will make it less sticky
It could’ve been much worse than it turned out
But I got through it, never had any doubt
 We get through it and we remain whole
Strength and wisdom, straight from our soul
A Sticky Situation came upon me
Understanding is what helped to set me free

 Whenever we find ourselves in a sticky situation, we pray for guidance to get us out. We remain calm and know that there is always a way out. No matter how sticky it is, we are never truly stuck if we use our minds and spirits to take us away from that place.
