So many days, I'd watch him gazing at the sun

I knew by his smile, he was a special one

This little man, who's words had touched my heart

Saw the world outside his window, as a work of art

"You're an angel," and "I'll always love you," words he would say

He treated me so kindly, he always made my day

A kindly gentleman, who's loved so very much

I'm so thankful, to have felt your touch

You've come a long way, but you don't act old

Because your spirit flows, with a heart of gold

My special friend, who's traveled very far

Memories are hidden, but we know who you are

I will keep filling up your cup, because you life won't end

Your memories restored in spirit, with the love we send

Oh special friend, you have found your place

And I shall not forget, your friendly smiling face
