You don't know anyone until you've seen their soul

The people you thought you did you really do not know

Impressions at first aren't always right

Until you get a glimpse inside of their light

Too many people judge others from their own past

Not realizing we are all different and impressions last

We must be open to the story that is there

Beyond the cover, and to be aware

Yet so many just take what they first see

I should know because it happened to me

They were convinced that they really knew

But what they thought wasn't really true

They didn't take the time to look inside their soul

So the outcome was they really didn't know

Take time to look with an open mind

You just never know who it is you'll find

Each one of us is made up from our past

Baggage that stays with us until the very last

If you're unsure of someone you might know

Then it's time to take a look...inside Their Soul
