Interchanging Spirits

Interchanging Spirits

by Bud Lemire on May 21, 2003

A dying person, regrets one of these two things

Doing more and seeing more, before they're on Angel's wings

The person remaining, wishes to have done more for the deceased

Searching for the peace of spirit, to have the pain released

People must live life, the only way they know

Exploring every corner, learning as we grow

There are no mistakes, only lessons that we learn

Opening new doorways, as we move in turn

There will always be things not liked, in everything you do

It's been a part of your past, and comes with something new

There will always be some things, that you'll never see

But you can see so much, when your spirits flowing free

For those reborn in spirit, they need closure too

Their guidance from beyond, helps in all we do

Filling in the void, that they left behind

Leaving all good memories, keeping them in mind

Interchanging Spirits, always come and go

In the here and after, of all things we should know
