How he got
his last name, I guess we'll only know
If we
research his name, to see where it will go
Take it back,
to where it all began
Of this
surname, given to this man
Or did he
change his name, somewhere along the way
So he could
have one, that fit into today
He had
several names to choose, why did he pick this one
And I wonder
if he'll pass it, down to his son
It's
possible, that the name changed in time
Or maybe was
translated, to a word that could rhyme
Could have
been shortened, from a longer word
But find the
connection, would have us reassured
I've been a
genealogist, for so many years
And saw so
many changes, that brought on many jeers
Wherever his
life takes him, wherever he sets sail
He'll never
be deleted, for he's Johnny E-Mail
