June
by Bud Lemire on Aug 27,

This is a
poem to honor my dear friend June
Who in this
lifetime, was always in tune
Whenever I
saw her passing by in her chair
Her smile
felt deeply, from someone who cares
She lived
here at the Harbor Tower
A wonderful
woman, this Native American flower
Life wasn’t
easy for her, she went through hell
Dialysis took
its toll, I sure could tell
Yet through
the pain, she always managed a smile
And her
strength kept her going, for that was her style
I know it was
always good to see
A smile on
her face, directed at me
Now she has
gone to where others have gone before
To be with
her sister, her family, her pain is no more
The Spirit
World embraced this wonderful soul
She can walk,
she can fly, she’s an Angel aglow
Thank you
dear June, for sharing your love here
For making
life better, for being so dear
We know she’s
not far, always in our heart
Her spirit
surrounds loved ones, never to be apart
This poem is honor of
June Mantor, who passed away.
Thank you June for
honoring us with your presence
and wonderful smile
that have touched us all.
You can walk, you can
fly. You’re an Angel!
