Let me eat fish

It's good for the brain

A mighty fine dish

And it keeps me sane

I love the whitefish, from the great lakes region

With a touch of butter added, it's pretty pleasing

Fish tastes so good, wherever you search

The rainbow trout, and the ocean perch

I like fresh salmon, and also fresh trout

Red snapper and basa, doesn't leave any doubt

Oh yes, and let's not forget the cod

Comes from Alaska, all made from God

Then there's tuna, the great sandwich fish

Goes great with everything, it's delicious

The halibut and haddock, are a few more

You can find at a fish market, or a good store

I'm not a worm, but they have me hooked

All fish taste great, if they're not overcooked

Let me eat fish for the rest of my life

I'll have my wish, thanks to my wife
