Like A Snowflake

Like A Snowflake

by Bud Lemire on Dec 6, 2006

Like a snowflake that falls, each of us are unique

For it’s different things, that each of us will seek

Some seek knowledge and all they can learn

Others seek to be richer with what they earn

Some drive cars or trucks, some may pedal their bike

Individuality is doing what we each like

Turn the channel, it’s something I don’t want to see

Switch it back, it means everything to me

You’ll have the steak, I’ll have the Fish

Whatever you desire, can be your wish

I think red looks really good on you

You say it clashes with your shoes of blue

You don’t like your appearance, yet I do

A part of your soul is seen as it breaks through

So alive with personality, is what I see

That’s how you come across to me

We all must be who we’re going to be

Letting our spirits take us wherever, roaming free

Each of us are unique, different as each snowflake

Appreciating one another, on this journey that we take
