Little Girl's Reflection

Little Girl's Reflection

by Bud Lemire on Mar 26, 2003

I giggle and I laugh, and I dance about

I sing a song and smile, and I sometimes shout

For it seems I'm being copied, in everything I do

The person who is doing it, looks like me too

I raise my hands in the air, and so do they

When I'm not close by, they are also away

It isn't so amazing, I love to watch myself

I seem to have the shape, of a modern day elf

Do you think I'm as pretty, as I am to me

Or is there something else, that you happen to see

I wouldn't change anything, I get better every day

And I keep growing more beautiful, in almost every way

I like to make sure, my hair is in the right place

And it makes me happy, to see my smiling face

I just want to dance, so filled up with pride

When I see the beauty, I feel so good inside

I twirl and I squeal, and then I also grin

Then I laugh out loud again, and then again I spin

Tell me though, do you look at yourself too

And feel as good inside, that you look like you
