Comes From Within

It doesn’t matter what color the eyes or the skin
To the spirit, the love comes from within
Emotions are the same in everyone
Some days the rain, some days the sun
Our spirit is strong, and we can rise above
And it’s there, where we’ll feel the love
When we have faith, and keep down our wall
We’ll know who, and we’ll hear their call
No use living life based on a fantasy
Being lead to something that may not be
Love comes from within
Only then will it begin
Let love come as it will
And let your heart be still
Peacefulness will let you know
A love that’s connected to your soul
Too many people, jump too quickly at a chance
Never really understanding, about life’s dance
I will step ahead in time, with each song
Knowing I’ll always be, in the place I belong
